2010 CFB Borden Air Display
Welcome to the PlanePixelBooks Publication blog. Here you will find free-to-view PDF publications that cover a variety of aviation subjects. The initial publications found here were originally published in 2012 and 2015 in two Aviation Miscellany volumes and republished as stand-alone booklets in 2017. At the time, navigation from the PlanePixelBooks blog to the PDFs was, to say the least, cumbersome and platform technology of the day provided viewing that was considerably less than optimal. Upgrades since then now allow direct linking and the publications are once again available.
While at first glance the subjects may seem outdated, each publication contains images and information that may still be of interest to enthusiasts and historians alike. New publications may be posted even as older PDFs are being republished. However, in the end today's news is tomorrow's history and aviation is not immune to that fact.
I would be remiss if I didn't thank Krista Swan-Tachauer for her support and contributions. Many of her outstanding photos can be found in the various publications.
Hopefully, the reader will find something of interest here as they explore, or simply reflect upon, the subjects of aircraft and aviation. Enjoy!
